Reviewing all the character themes from Guilty Gear+R

Just like the title says I will be reviewing character themes from Guilty Gear Accent Core+R, before we begin thare are NO bad songs in this game, just some are better then others.

For reference the songs I will be reviewing are from the "Sound" option in the game's menu

(I will be ranking the songs out of 10 dustloops, and this is all just my opinion)

The Song Review Rank
"Keep Yourself Alive ||"

Probably the most blatant Queen reference in the series after only after Sol's name. I like how kinda slow and confidant this song is, representing Sol's confidence, but Give Me a Break, Sol's theme from XRD does this better. I kinda like the rythem and riffs more from the original Keep Yourself ALive from Missing Link to be honest. Still, this song is really good and a good representation on the songs coming ahead.

"Holy Orders (Be Just or Be Dead)"

For a time this was a the most famous song from the series, Now that title can go to either Find Your One Way, Smell of The Game, or Big Blast Sonic. But this song definetly deserves to be so famous, this is the perfect theme for a character like Ky, the perfect guitar riffs, the angelic quier, the blaring synth, ecetera ecetera. To be honest I'm kinda mixed on the synth they used, I wish they used a more "hard hitting" style of synth if you get what I mean.

"Blue Water Blue Sky" The best May theme (In my opinion at least) no other May theme really does it for me the same as this one. It just has such a hopefull and feel good vibe. Only the Korean theme Outta My Way is nearly as good, and Disaster of Passion is to pop music style for me.
"Writhe in Pain"

This song captures Millia really well, both her beuty and deadliness. The I think organ, captures her beuty and pristiness, while the guitar captures her deadliness and skill, at least that's how I interpret the song. I really like how the guitar blares out during the organ at the start. I really like how the Guilty Gear X Heavy Rock Tracks version of this songs ends, wiht the organ slowley coming to and end.

"Feel a Fear"

I really like how brooding and heavy-hitting the guitars are in this song. I also like how kinda unfiting the piano is here and how it creaes a creepy atmoshpere for the song. And corect me if I'm wrong, but I like how near all of Zato's theme's include a piano.

"Burly Heart"

This theme is just as hard-hitting as the character. I like the beggining and how the semi quiet beats transition into the heavy and hard bass. I don't really have anything else to say to be honest this theme is just really good :)

"Suck a Sage

Hell yes, this theme is just perfect. The fast guitar riffs perfectly represent Chipp's speed and the part at 1:40 is just godlike. And I don't know if this is just be but if Chipp was in any other game they wouldv'e put some japanese instruments in his theme, but I like how they didn't here, leting the guitar speak for itslef (If that makes any sense at all).

"The Original"

Just like Faust, this song is very chaotic, the weird sounding syhths, the blairing guitar riffs, the perts of the song were it gets quiet, and the piano used near the end. The song is pretty good but kinda not my thing.

"Make Oneself"

I've never really payed this song much mind until re-listening to it now. I really like the laid back and chill vibe this song gives off, and I rally like how in the Guilty Gear X Heavy Rock Tracks version of this song starts of with a piano bit. I Really like the part at 1:47, I don't really know why but it just has a nice calm "vibe" i guess.

"Momentary Life"

I never really though mcuh of this song, I mean its good just like all the rest but not really interesting to me. But listening to it now I actually like it a bit more, I really like the use of the flute.

"Fuuga (Elegance)"

Ah yeah, this theme I've always liked, the entire song is just great. Sime riffs in this song are some of my favorites from the soundtrack to be honest.

"A Solitude That Ask Nothing In Return"

I really like this theme but the Guilty Gear X Heavy Rock Tracks version is better in my opinion. I rally like the part at 1:48 and the more classical part at 2:22 both portraying Venom's deadly Professionalism.

"Liqur Bar and Drunkard"

This is another song that perfectly fits its character, confident and cool, and I really like the synth sting at the end. Btw the english vocal version of this song is fucking halarious and suprisingly fitting for Johhny, would highly recomend you listen to it.

"Babel Nose"

The start of this soncan be pretty sterotypical in my opinion but the rest of the song is pretty good, no other comment to be honest.

"Bloodstained Lineage"

The intro to this song perfectly represents this songs chaotic vibe. I really like the drums in the song and the piano I Really like.

"Awe of She"

I really like how in the Guilty Gear X Heavy Rock Tracks version has a choir for the opening. I like how this song and "Meet Again" share some of the same chords showing Dizzy's and Justice's relationship, and the part at 2:16 I really enjoy.

"A Simple Life"

This song just puts a big smile on my face, perfectly representing Bridget's happy and hopefull personality.

"Haven't You Got Eyes In Your Head?"

Dandyism at its finest. The saxaphoens in the here really makes this song, and really all of Slayer's theme feel really uniqe. And to be honest I kinda like this theme more than Jack A Dandy to be honest.

"Good Manners And Customs"

Fuck I love the intro to this song so much, the heavy guitar riff leading intro the angelic sounding synth, just perfect, I also really like the orchestra in the song too.

"Kage Matsuri" (Shadow Festival)

This song gives off I-No's vide perfectly of confidence and agressivness. I don't know if its just me but when I heard 00:34 for the first time I thought it sounded out of place but now I really like those parts.

"The Midnight Carnival"

I know this doesn't technically count as a "character theme" but this theme does play for boss I-No so I'm putting it here anyway cause why not. The opening choir perfectly starts this amazing rock ballad, greatly capturing I-No taking thsi fight semi-seriously. Although when I first got to this fight and having to hear this song a billion times did get a little anoying honestly.

"Holy Orders?"

This song is funny as shit. a fucked up version of Ky having and equally fucked theme is halarious. The Korean version of this song, Vortex Infinitum actually kicks major ass and is the perferable Robo Ky theme.

"Pride And Glory"

This was I think the first Guilty Gear song I ever hear, and boy did I start with a good one. This song mixing metal and rragtime/blue music comes out really good and gives it a fairly uniqe feeling. Thought the riffs in the original Missing link version sjust sound better in my opinion.

"Meet Again"

Objectivley the best song in the game. The song conveying both Sorrow, rage and hatred, perfect for Justice's character. The Guilty Gear Sound Complete Box version I do like a little bit more to be honest.

"Keep In Gates"

An absolutley perfect song. The organ at the start and end are so, I don't know calming? mellow? I don't know how to describe it it just really calming and kndia beutiful to me in a weird way I can't describe. And the screams included just fit perfectly with A.B.A's whole vibe. And the song switching to a more agressive melody to a more softer melody and then back again is such a good representation of A.B.A's gameplay. Can you tell I like this character :)

"Get Down To Business"

The ACTUAL best song in the game. This song perfectly captures the vibe of Guilty gear like the intro song, giving a mixture of both orchestra and heavy metal. And the vocal samples of "GET DOWN" add such a unique style to this song specifically. And the opening riff is so godlike, when you hear it you know if from this song.
